During our first month in the Filipinos, we were just sitting in our apartment and Nini came running in. "Come! Come!" she urged. So we stopped what we were doing and followed her outside. She took us to a plant that Michel had growing on the side of her house, and pointed at it with a smile. We just awkwardly smiled back and said, "Wow, that is a pretty plant." Then she giggled and urged us to look closer. When we did we saw little green caterpillars ALL over it. So we thought it would be fun to follow the Metamorphosis process of some of these caterpillars. After the caterpillars went into the cocoon we took 5 of them off the plant and kept them in a box with tissues. However, the dreadful Filipino ants were able to reach it and they attacked some of the poor cocoons :( So we had to put the box on top of a peanut butter jar in the middle of a bowl of water. Well, that attack was pretty harsh because in the end only 2 butterflies made it. So, here they are. This is the Metamorphosis of Bob and Bill.
